CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS

OUR WAYS TO SERVE.

From Parent Teacher Organization to academic clubs and honor societies, there are many opportunities for students AND parents to get involved at Rossville Christian Academy. Many of these activities reflect a desire to help others in our communities, and it’s not unusual to see students collecting fleece throws at Christmas for “adopted” grandparents at a local nursing home, or to organize food drives for local food banks.

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Our Honor Societies.

At RCA, we value academic excellence and seek to recognize students for their commitment to prioritize their studies, along with integrity, and service. Students who demonstrate these characteristics can be selected to be members of the National Beta Club.

Our Activities & Clubs.

We believe that in order to attain a first-class education, the whole student needs to be taught. This means that not only do we need to develop their minds in the classroom, but we also need to offer other opportunities for students to engage with faculty, each other, and the larger community. Here are a few of the ways that we nurture the whole child at RCA:

  • Adventures with the Pack (International Travel Program)
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • International Cuisine
  • Elementary Buddies
  • Theater
  • Soccer
  • STEM Club
  • Student Government Association
  • Photography
  • Film
  • Hey Girl
  • Strategy
  • Chapel
  • Agricultural Science

Our House System.

Every student at RCA is part of a HOUSE. He/she remains with their House until graduation. Each HOUSE has a designated color and they get to wear their house t-shirt on Thursdays. Students earn points for their House in each of the 4 pillars (see below), and the house with the most points at the end of the year wins a day off from school!

The 4 Pillars of Purpose:

  • Build Community Among Students
  • Increase School Pride
  • Service on Campus
  • Growth in Christ-like Character
