Dear RCA Family:
Life and school as usual have dramatically changed for all of us in a short period of time. While our day-to-day operation looks different amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, RCA remains committed to serving our families with quality, Christ-centered education. As believers, by the grace of Jesus, we can choose hope and joy, despite challenging circumstances because we know He is sovereign over and near in all things.
Since our initial announcement on March 12 to close our campus, the coronavirus pandemic has escalated and continues to be a fluid situation. At this time, it’s not possible to determine a definite date for RCA to reopen campus. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the guidance of our local, state, and national government and health officials. We will share updates with you on a weekly basis each Monday.
Please take a moment to watch this video message from our Head of School.
Our administration, faculty, and staff have been working diligently to consider all of our students’ needs during this unique time and adapt our methods to embrace the challenges and opportunities of distance learning. Later this week, you will receive more information about our plans for a more extensive distance learning experience which will begin March 30. Our teachers miss your children and are eager to begin connecting with them in various ways through mediums such as instructional videos, live meetings, and interactive discussions. We will provide alternate learning methods if internet connectivity/computer accessibility is limited or unavailable for your child.
Please continue to check your email frequently for updates and connect with RCA on social media—we love seeing pictures and videos of your children learning at home! During this time of uncertainty and distance, we pray we will remain united as a community, seek creative ways to minister to others, and look to the One who is always certain and always near.
Peace & Blessings,
Your RCA Administration
